Chevrolet 2011–2020 1.4 24578210 94700106 Crankahsft For Gm Meriva Opel Corsa Celta 1.4 – OEM 24578210

Product Overview: Engineered for Chevrolet Chevrolet 1.4 engines, this precision-machined crankshaft is a direct-fit replacement component built to original equipment dimensions. It is produced to original equipment tolerances and is intended to replace a worn, bent, cracked or journal-damaged original crankshaft without modification.

Key Features: CNC machining holds the main and rod journals, fillet radii, stroke and end-float to original equipment tolerances for accurate assembly. Journals are ground and micro-polished to a fine surface finish to encourage reliable oil-film formation and reduce bearing wear during cold starts and sustained high load. Precision-machined construction provides the stiffness needed under load, and each shaft is balanced to reduce vibration and bearing stress.

Vehicle Compatibility: It fits Chevrolet models including Utility RHD (South Africa) and Montana nova. Fitment is documented for the 2011-2020 and 2012-2018 model years. Early and late builds of the same engine can use different revisions, so identification from the original component is essential.

Specifications: Key specifications: engine code Chevrolet 1.4; material high-grade alloy; size STD; condition New; warranty 12 Months. It is supplied for replacement and repair applications in standard specification. It is supplied in standard size, so no undersize bearings or additional machining are required at assembly.

OEM / Reference Numbers: No alternative reference numbers are published for this listing; identification should be made from the engine code and vehicle application details.

Applications: Typical uses include engine overhauls, bottom-end rebuilds, fleet maintenance and repair of vehicles withdrawn from service because of bearing failure or bottom-end noise. It is a suitable choice for workshops that rebuild this engine family regularly and prefer to keep standard-size parts on the shelf.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Replacing a worn or damaged crankshaft restores smooth rotation, corrects vibration and bearing noise, and helps recover lost oil pressure. Using a new standard-size shaft eliminates the turnaround time and uncertainty of reconditioning the original component. No exchange core is needed, and the new part avoids the risk of hidden cracks that sometimes survive reconditioning.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Prior to installation, verify the reference number, measure all journals and inspect the block and bearing bores for wear or distortion. Install with new bearings, confirm oil clearance using plastigauge, and tighten the main and rod caps to factory torque and sequence. Keep the journals protected until the moment of assembly, and handle the shaft only with clean gloves to avoid surface damage. Check crankshaft end-float, pre-lubricate the oil galleries, and carry out an initial run-in followed by an early oil change.
