Chevrolet Daewoo Opel LUV 1998–2002 2.2L 2.2 Luv Crankshaft 90469588 90530454 Daewoo Opel X22xe – OEM 90469588

Product Overview: This forged steel engine crankshaft is a direct-fit replacement component engineered for Chevrolet Daewoo Opel LUV 2.2 engines. The part is manufactured to original equipment dimensions, making it a practical solution when an original crankshaft has failed through bearing wear, scoring or fatigue cracking. Built for 2.2 litre displacement engines, it is supplied in STD and finished in forged steel.

Key Features: Each crankshaft is CNC-machined to original equipment dimensions, controlling main and rod journal diameters, journal run-out, stroke and thrust surfaces. The journals are ground, hardened and micro-polished so the bearing shells receive a consistent oil film and run quietly from the first start. The shaft is inspected for straightness and journal finish before packing, and is supplied coated in protective anti-rust oil. Journal fillet radii are rolled where specified, which increases fatigue strength at the highest-stress points of the shaft.

Vehicle Compatibility: It fits Chevrolet Daewoo Opel models including LEGANZA (V100). Fitment is documented for the 1998-2002 and 1997-2002 model years. If a vehicle is not shown in the compatibility list, cross-reference the engine code and original reference number to confirm fitment.

Specifications: Key specifications: engine code LUV 2.2; displacement 2.2 L; cylinder configuration Inline 4 (L4); material Forged Steel; size STD; condition New; warranty 12 Months. Manufacturing is carried out under ISO 9001 / TS16949 quality systems. The component is a new part rather than a reconditioned exchange unit.

OEM / Reference Numbers: No alternative reference numbers are published for this listing; identification should be made from the engine code and vehicle application details.

Applications: It is suited to engine rebuilds, in-frame overhauls, fleet servicing and the repair of engines that have suffered bearing seizure or crankshaft damage. It also suits preventative maintenance programmes where a failed unit is replaced before secondary damage occurs. The part is used across passenger cars, vans, pickups and light trucks, as well as industrial equipment where the same engine is fitted.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Fitting this part corrects bottom-end noise and vibration, restores oil pressure and returns the engine to reliable service. Using a new standard-size shaft eliminates the turnaround time and uncertainty of reconditioning the original component. Accurate journal geometry and balance lower the load on bearings and the lubrication system, helping the rebuilt engine last.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Check the part number, journal dimensions and cylinder block line bore before assembly begins. Fit new bearing shells, verify clearances against factory limits, and torque the caps in the specified order.
