Ford Mazda WL WLT WLAA 2002–2006 Forged/casting Wl Wlt Wlaa Crankshaft Wl01-11-300 Wl81-11-300b For Mazda Ranger – OEM WL0111300

Product Overview: This forged steel and cast iron engine crankshaft is a direct-fit replacement component engineered for Ford Mazda WL WLT WLAA engines. Every unit is machined to factory dimensions so it can replace a fatigued, scored or bent original crankshaft as a straightforward bolt-in component.

Key Features: The crankshaft is CNC-machined on precision centres to hold main and rod journal diameters, fillet radii, stroke and end-float within original equipment limits. Journals are ground and micro-polished to a fine surface finish to encourage reliable oil-film formation and reduce bearing wear during cold starts and sustained high load. The forged steel and cast iron construction resists bending and torsional fatigue under high cylinder pressure, while dynamic balancing reduces vibration across the rev range.

Vehicle Compatibility: This part is supplied for the engine applications detailed in the compatibility data, and the original component should be identified before ordering. Because several production revisions share the same basic casting or forging, always confirm the engine code, casting marks and original reference number against the failed component before ordering. Early and late builds of the same engine can use different revisions, so identification from the original component is essential.

Specifications: Key specifications: engine code WL WLT WLAA; displacement 2.5L; cylinder configuration 4; material Forged Steel / Nodular Cast Iron; size STD; condition New; warranty 12 Months, 12 Months. Further specification details: main journal diameter Standard OE Spec. The component is a new part rather than a reconditioned exchange unit.

OEM / Reference Numbers: OEM and cross-reference numbers covered by this listing are WL0111300.

Applications: It is suited to engine rebuilds, in-frame overhauls, fleet servicing and the repair of engines that have suffered bearing seizure or crankshaft damage. Fitting is common in passenger vehicles, utility vehicles and light commercial fleets running the listed engine.

Benefits / Replacement Information: A new crankshaft removes the vibration, knocking and low oil pressure associated with worn journals or a bent shaft. Using a new standard-size shaft eliminates the turnaround time and uncertainty of reconditioning the original component.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Check the part number, journal dimensions and cylinder block line bore before assembly begins. Use new bearing shells, set clearances with plastigauge or a bore gauge, and torque the main and connecting rod bolts to the manufacturer's sequence and figures. Leave the protective coating in place until assembly and handle the shaft carefully to prevent nicks on the journals. Professional installation is recommended, following the vehicle manufacturer's documented procedures and torque data.
