Ford Transit 2006–2014 2.4L Bus 2.4 TDCi 4x4 (103KW,140PS) 1433148 1420146 1475887 1546410 1891952 H9FB/H9FD/JXFA/PHFA Aluminum Complete Cylinder Head L4 TDCI – OEM 908768

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is engineered for the Ford and Land Rover 2.4-litre TDCi diesel engine used in the Transit, Defender and related commercial platforms. It is supplied as a fully assembled unit with valves, guides and seats installed and is machined to original equipment tolerances, providing a durable replacement for a cracked, warped or valve-damaged original cylinder head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-strength material and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, correct valve seat concentricity and consistent combustion chamber volume. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed for even sealing and balanced compression across all four cylinders, and the injector bores are precisely machined to suit the common-rail fuel system. Reinforced casting sections around the fire deck and valve bridge improve resistance to thermal cracking under sustained commercial loads.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Ford Transit Bus and Transit platform and chassis models (2004-2014 including the 2.4 TDCi 4x4 variants) and Land Rover Defender Station Wagon L316 applications using the 2.4 Td4 engine in the H9FB, H9FD, JXFA, JXFC, PHFA and PHFC families. Confirm the engine code, casting number and OE reference before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code JXFA, JXFC, H9FB, H9FD, PHFA, PHFC; displacement 2.4 litres; inline four-cylinder turbo-diesel; output rating approximately 103 kW / 140 PS in factory form; material high-strength cast iron; standard size; new condition; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; purpose replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 908768, 1433148, 1420146, 1475887, 1546410, 1891952, 6C1Q6C032BA, 6C1Q6C032CA, 7C166049BB, 7C166C032BA, LR004428 and LR10185.

Applications: Ideal for commercial vans, minibuses, chassis cab conversions and off-road utility vehicles, covering fleet maintenance, workshop overhauls, engine rebuilds and long-life service programmes.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Installing this assembly restores compression, corrects coolant and combustion gas leakage caused by cracks or distortion, and eliminates the cost of reconditioning the original valves, guides and seats individually. A complete head keeps commercial vehicles productive by minimising downtime.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Installation should be performed by a qualified diesel technician. Check block deck flatness, use new head bolts, gaskets and seals, and torque in the manufacturer's specified sequence and angular stages. Replace timing and cooling components as required, verify injector sealing and valve clearances, then run the engine to operating temperature and confirm no leaks before returning the vehicle to service.
