Toyota Hilux Vigo 2005–2014 Upper Control Arm Suspension Lift Kit

Overview

This upper control arm lift kit for the Toyota Hilux Vigo and Toyota Hilux Revo / Rocco is a new aftermarket replacement available from Auto Centre Parts. No genuine OE number is published for this listing, so fitment should be confirmed using your vehicle details and the information below. It is aimed at owners of 4x4s, utes and light commercial vehicles who want to restore or adjust ride height and suspension support for New Zealand roads, tracks and work use.

Aftermarket upper control arms are designed for lifted independent front suspension. When a vehicle is raised, the factory arms can run out of caster and ball-joint angle, pulling the alignment out of range. Upper control arms designed for lifted vehicles restore alignment adjustment and give the ball joint more working room through the suspension travel.

Signs that a lifted vehicle needs upper control arms include an alignment that cannot be brought back within specification, ball joints sitting at extreme angles, and tyres rubbing on the factory arms. Upgraded arms are commonly fitted alongside a front lift kit.

Vehicle Compatibility

Compatibility is based on the information supplied with this product and has not been VIN-verified. Where a field is blank, that detail was not supplied — please confirm it with our team.

Fitment & Installation

Upper control arms are fitted as a pair and a professional wheel alignment is mandatory after installation. Check ABS sensor wiring and brake hose clearance around the new arms through full lock and full suspension travel, and torque all pivot bolts with the vehicle at ride height.

Professional installation is recommended. In New Zealand, suspension and ride-height changes must still meet Warrant / Certificate of Fitness requirements, and larger modifications may need LVVTA certification — check with a certifier before fitting if you are unsure.
