Isuzu D-Max 4x4 Suspension Lift Kit – OEM 8979477912 / 8979466470

Overview

This 4x4 suspension lift kit for the Isuzu D-Max is a new aftermarket replacement available from Auto Centre Parts. It is listed against OE reference 8979477912, with cross-references 8979466470, so you can match it against the number on your existing part before ordering. It is aimed at owners of 4x4s, utes and light commercial vehicles who want to restore or adjust ride height and suspension support for New Zealand roads, tracks and work use.

A suspension lift kit raises the ride height of a 4x4 or ute to increase ground clearance, improve approach and departure angles for off-road driving, and make space for larger tyres. Where a kit includes matched shock absorbers and springs, those components are selected to work together at the lifted height rather than relying on factory parts tuned for standard height.

Lift kits are a common upgrade for touring, towing, farm and beach use, and for owners replacing tired original suspension at the same time. Check the Key Details and product images for exactly what is supplied, and if any of your existing suspension components are worn, plan to replace them during the same installation.

Vehicle Compatibility

Compatibility is based on the information supplied with this product and has not been VIN-verified. Where a field is blank, that detail was not supplied — please confirm it with our team.

Fitment & Installation

Lifting a vehicle changes steering, driveline and braking geometry. A wheel alignment is required after fitting, and CV angles, brake hose length, driveshaft angles and headlight aim should all be checked. Confirm whether your vehicle carries a canopy, bullbar or regular towing load, as these affect the spring rate you need.

Professional installation is recommended. In New Zealand, suspension and ride-height changes must still meet Warrant / Certificate of Fitness requirements, and larger modifications may need LVVTA certification — check with a certifier before fitting if you are unsure.

Before You Order

To make sure you receive the right part first time, send the Auto Centre Parts team your vehicle's make, model, year, engine code and VIN or rego, along with the OE number from your existing part. We will check the listing details against your vehicle before dispatch.
