Chevrolet Opel A16XER B16XER Z16XER F16D4 2006–2010 High Performance Engine Crankshaft 55550953 Cruze Aveo 1.6 – OEM 55569767

Product Overview: This forged steel and cast iron engine crankshaft is a direct-fit replacement component engineered for Chevrolet Opel A16XER B16XER Z16XER F16D4 engines. It is produced to original equipment tolerances and is intended to replace a worn, bent, cracked or journal-damaged original crankshaft without modification.

Key Features: CNC machining holds the main and rod journals, fillet radii, stroke and end-float to original equipment tolerances for accurate assembly. The journals are ground, hardened and micro-polished so the bearing shells receive a consistent oil film and run quietly from the first start. Consistent production tolerances mean the part can be fitted without the trial-and-error often associated with low-grade replacements. Forged steel and cast iron construction provides the stiffness needed under load, and each shaft is balanced to reduce vibration and bearing stress.

Vehicle Compatibility: This part is supplied for the engine applications detailed in the compatibility data, and the original component should be identified before ordering. The same engine family was produced in more than one revision, so verify the engine code and original part number against the removed component before ordering. If the vehicle is not listed, compare the engine code and original part number to identify whether the same component is used.

Specifications: Key specifications: engine code A16XER B16XER Z16XER F16D4; cylinder configuration 4; material Ductile Cast Iron / Forged Steel; size STD; condition New; warranty 12 Months, 12 Months. Further specification details: stroke 81.5mm and main journal diameter Standard.

OEM / Reference Numbers: No alternative reference numbers are published for this listing; identification should be made from the engine code and vehicle application details.

Applications: Typical uses include engine overhauls, bottom-end rebuilds, fleet maintenance and repair of vehicles withdrawn from service because of bearing failure or bottom-end noise.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Replacing a worn or damaged crankshaft restores smooth rotation, corrects vibration and bearing noise, and helps recover lost oil pressure. Using a new standard-size shaft eliminates the turnaround time and uncertainty of reconditioning the original component.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Prior to installation, verify the reference number, measure all journals and inspect the block and bearing bores for wear or distortion. Use new bearing shells, set clearances with plastigauge or a bore gauge, and torque the main and connecting rod bolts to the manufacturer's sequence and figures. Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician using the vehicle manufacturer's procedures and torque specifications. Cleanliness during assembly is critical; keep machined surfaces free of swarf, grit and moisture at all times.
