Renault Megane 2000–2000 1.9L I Kombi van 1.9 D (47KW,64PS) 908098 F8Q Cylinder Head Assembly 7711134641 7711497299 7701471154 Mitsubishi – OEM 908098

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is manufactured for the Renault F8Q 1.9-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, a widely used powerplant fitted across the Megane, Kangoo, Laguna, Trafic and Clio families. It is supplied fully assembled with valves, guides and seats installed and is machined to original equipment dimensions, offering a practical replacement for a warped, cracked or valve-damaged original cylinder head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-grade aluminium alloy and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, correct valve seat concentricity and consistent combustion chamber volume. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed for even sealing and balanced compression across all four cylinders, and the cam carrier surfaces are finished for correct bearing clearance. Injector seats and pre-chamber bores are precisely machined to maintain correct diesel combustion, while the intake and exhaust flanges are finished for reliable gasket sealing.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Renault Megane I and Megane I Kombi 1.9 D (1996-2003, 47 kW / 64 PS), Kangoo and Kangoo Rapid 1.9 D (1997 onwards, 40 kW / 54 PS), Laguna II Grandtour 1.9 dCi (2005-2007) and Trafic Van 1.9 (1997-2001) models that use the F8Q engine. Confirm the engine code, casting number and OE reference before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code F8Q; displacement 1.9 litres; inline four-cylinder diesel; material aluminium alloy; standard size; new condition; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; purpose replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 908098, 7701478460, 7701471013, 7711134641, 7711497299, 7701471154 and 7701471552. Cross-reference these numbers with the casting marks on the original cylinder head to confirm the correct variant is supplied.

Applications: Suitable for compact cars, small vans, MPVs and light commercial vehicles, covering everyday repairs, engine rebuilds, workshop overhauls and fleet maintenance where a durable factory-specification diesel head is required.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Installing this assembly restores compression, corrects coolant and combustion leakage caused by cracking or distortion, and avoids the expense of re-machining the original casting. A complete unit shortens vehicle downtime and ensures matched valve and seat geometry.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Fitment should be carried out by a qualified technician. Verify block deck flatness, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts where specified, and torque in the correct sequence to the manufacturer's figures. Check valve clearances and injection timing after assembly, then pressure test and bleed the cooling system before returning the vehicle to service.
