Suzuki 2017+ 2.4L (Second Generation) IGNIS SUV (17.08-) J24B High Standard and Low MOQ J24B Cylinder Head Assy Gasoline Engine LTR – OEM 11100-78KA0

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is manufactured for Suzuki J24B 2.4-litre petrol engines, the four-cylinder unit used in the Grand Vitara and related models. It is delivered as a fully assembled unit with valves, guides and seats installed and is machined to original equipment tolerances, providing a dependable replacement for a warped, cracked or valve-damaged original cylinder head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-grade material and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, correct valve seat concentricity and consistent combustion chamber volume. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed for even sealing and balanced compression across all four cylinders, and the cam carrier surfaces are finished for correct bearing clearance in the DOHC valvetrain. Intake and exhaust flanges are precision machined for reliable gasket sealing and correct manifold positioning.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Suzuki Ignis SUV second generation (August 2017 onwards) and Alto (2004-2009) models, together with related Suzuki Grand Vitara applications equipped with the J24B 2.4-litre engine. Because this powerplant was used across several Suzuki platforms, always verify the engine code, casting number and OE reference before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code J24B; displacement 2.4 litres; inline four-cylinder petrol; material cast iron or aluminium; standard size; new condition; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; purpose replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 11100-78KA0 and 11100-78K00. Match these references against the casting marks on the original cylinder head to confirm the correct variant.

Applications: Suitable for compact and mid-size SUVs, crossovers and utility vehicles, covering everyday repairs, engine rebuilds, workshop overhauls and fleet maintenance where a factory-specification 2.4-litre head is required.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Fitting this assembly restores compression, corrects coolant and combustion gas leakage caused by cracking or distortion, and removes the expense of separately reconditioning the original valves, guides and seats. A complete unit shortens repair time and reduces vehicle downtime.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Installation should be performed by a qualified technician. Clean and check the block deck for flatness, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts as specified, and torque in the correct sequence. Replace timing chain components and coolant during the job, verify valve clearances and cam timing, then run the engine to operating temperature and check for leaks before road testing.
