VW FOX 2003–2005 Hatchback (5Z1, 5Z3, 5Z4) 1.0 City(53KW,72PS) Auto Cylinder Head Assembly OEM 030103353 Fox Gol 1.0 Volkswagen – OEM 030103353CS

Product Overview: A new cylinder head assembly for the VW 1.0 gasoline (petrol) engine, supplied complete and ready to fit. The casting is machined on CNC centres to original-equipment tolerances, pressure tested for integrity and assembled with new valve train components, making it a practical alternative when the original head is beyond economical repair. Each head is measured at the critical interfaces before it leaves production, covering deck flatness, valve seat and guide condition, camshaft bearing clearance and chamber volume, and is then pressure tested so that it is installation-ready on arrival.

Key Features: Precision CNC machining delivers correct combustion chamber volume, accurate valve seat angles and matched port dimensions. New valve guides and seats are installed and finished after fitment, camshaft bearing surfaces are machined to the specified running clearance, and reinforced walls around the ports and plug or injector bosses add strength where thermal stress is highest.

Vehicle Compatibility: This assembly is confirmed against the following applications: Vw Fox Hatchback (5Z1, 5Z3, 5Z4) (2003.10-2005.04) 1.0 City(53KW,72PS). Because manufacturers often revise part numbers within the same model generation, always confirm the engine code and original reference number on the vehicle or the failed component before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code: VW 1.0; fuel type: gasoline (petrol); material: Cast Iron Or Aluminium; condition: new; purpose: replacement or repair; supplied as a complete, fully assembled cylinder head; warranty: 12 months.

OEM / Reference Numbers: Reference numbers: 030103353CS. Where several numbers are listed, they represent superseded or market-specific equivalents of the same part. Verify the number on the original unit, casting or label against this list to avoid a mis-fit.

Applications: Typical applications include VW using the VW 1.0 engine. The assembly suits everyday road use as well as workshop repairs, engine rebuilds, accident damage, fleet maintenance and restoration projects where a reliable replacement for a tired or failed engine is required.

Benefits / Replacement Information: A prepared replacement removes the guesswork and delay of rebuilding the original unit in-house. Compression, clearances and sealing are already verified, so the vehicle returns to service quickly with restored power, cleaner emissions and dependable cold-starting behaviour.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Fitment must be performed by a trained mechanic with the correct tooling. Verify block deck condition, use new gaskets and stretch bolts, follow the specified torque and angle sequence, and renew the timing drive, water pump and thermostat where the service schedule requires it. After assembly, check valve clearances and cam timing, pressure test the cooling system and clear any stored fault codes.
