The blanket’s unique design helps keep the heat contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, preventing it from interfering with the intake path. This keeps more oxygen flowing into the engine for better power output and reduced turbo lag. While the blanket may lose some flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, it will provide lasting performance once installed.
