Mounted on passenger side of rear view mirror. Hard to notice it’s there from drivers seat. Have hardwired it (kit sold separately) and switches on and off with ignition. Cons. Doesn't come with memory card. Needs a specific card and had to go to another branch to get the card. Rear camera usb cable is long enough for a small car - but not sure it would be long enough for a SUV / station wagon or van unless it was run along the headliner (which isn’t recommended due to airbags).
