Description
The G4LA is a 1.2L petrol engine from Hyundai-Kia’s Kappa series, widely used in compact cars such as Hyundai i10, i20 and Kia Picanto, Rio, and Stonic. Designed with an aluminum alloy cylinder block, DOHC 16-valve system, and chain-driven timing, it offers excellent fuel efficiency, low maintenance, and reliable performance. The first-generation G4LA delivers 78 HP, while the upgraded Dual CVVT version reaches up to 85 HP and 121 Nm of torque, meeting Euro 4 and Euro 5 emission standards. This engine is compact, lightweight, and ideal for urban driving with smooth power delivery and economical fuel consumption. We provide brand-new complete G4LA engine assemblies, ISO/TS16949 certified and tested before delivery. With a 12-month warranty, our engines are the perfect replacement solution for Hyundai and Kia compact cars. The engine was installed on: Hyundai i10 1 (PA) in 2008 – 2013; i10 2 (IA) in 2013 – 2019; Hyundai i20 1 (PB) in 2008 – 2014; i20 2 (GB) in 2014 – 2020; Kia Picanto 2 (TA) in 2011 – 2017; Picanto 3 (JA) since 2017; Kia Rio 3 (UB) in 2011 – 2017; Rio 4 (YB) since 2017; Kia Stonic 1 (YB) since 2017.
