Porsche / Audi / VW Golf Black Aluminium Short Steering Wheel Hub Adapter - 6-Hole
Description

Product Overview

This short steering wheel hub adapter is listed for Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen Golf applications and is designed to mount an aftermarket 6-hole steering wheel to the vehicle's steering column. Made from aluminium with a black powder-coated finish, the short design keeps the wheel close to the dashboard. It is commonly used in track, drift and motorsport vehicles fitted with aftermarket wheels, where a quick, solid connection to the column is required.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Short hub adapter design
  • Aluminium construction
  • Black powder-coated finish
  • Compatible with 6-hole aftermarket steering wheels
  • Listed for Porsche, Audi and VW Golf applications
  • Sport design style

Vehicle Compatibility

The supplier lists this adapter for Porsche, Audi and VW Golf vehicles but does not state specific models, years or spline types. Fitment is supplier-stated and has not been independently verified. Steering column splines differ between models and generations, so please confirm your exact vehicle before ordering.

Product Specifications

Installation and Usage

Fitting a hub adapter requires removing the factory steering wheel and airbag, which removes airbag protection for the driver. Airbag removal must be done safely by a qualified technician, and the clock spring and warning systems will need to be addressed. Tighten the steering column nut to the correct torque and check that the wheel is secure and centred before driving.

Package Contents

Hub adapter as pictured. The supplier has not confirmed whether bolts, a horn ring or wiring are included; other contents not confirmed.

Important Fitment Notice

Removing a factory airbag and fitting an aftermarket wheel may affect WoF and require certification in New Zealand, and may only be suitable for motorsport use. Please send us your VIN or chassis number before ordering so we can advise.
