Description

Product Overview

This 3 inch cold air intake is listed for Volkswagen Mk6 Golf GTI and Golf R models and the Jetta with the 2.0 TSI turbocharged engine. Made from aluminium with a black powder-coated surface, it replaces the factory airbox and intake ducting with a more open layout and gives the engine bay a cohesive, understated look that complements the factory engine cover.

Key Features and Benefits

  • 3 inch intake size as listed by the supplier
  • Aluminium construction with black powder coating
  • Listed for the 2.0 TSI in the Mk6 Golf GTI, Golf R and Jetta
  • Black finish blends with the factory engine bay
  • Open filter for quick inspection and cleaning
  • Supplied new as a single set

Vehicle Compatibility

The supplier lists the VW Mk6 Golf GTI, Golf R and Jetta with the 2.0 TSI / 2.0T engine, with year ranges between 2006 and 2016 that are not matched to individual models. Fitment is supplier-stated and not independently verified. The Golf R and GTI use different engines in some markets, so please confirm your model, year and engine code before ordering.

Installation and Usage

Fitting involves removing the factory airbox and intake hose, installing the aluminium intake and filter, and reconnecting breathers, sensors and couplers. Clean or replace the filter at regular service intervals.
