Worn control arms commonly cause knocking over bumps, wandering on the motorway and uneven tyre wear, and replacement restores sharp, stable steering.

The lower arm locates the wheel and carries load through its bushes and ball joint, so wear here affects both comfort and safety.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data (51 entries) includes:

Audi A4 B5 sedan and Avant – 1994 to 2001

Audi A4 B6 and B7 sedan and Avant – 2000 to 2008; A4 Convertible – 2002 to 2009

Audi A6 C5 sedan and Avant – 1997 to 2005; Allroad C5 – 2000 to 2005

Audi A8 D2 – 1994 to 2002

Volkswagen Passat B5 sedan and Variant – 1996 to 2005

Seat Exeo – from 2008

Key features

Front lower position control arm

OEM standard size

Material options of aluminium, steel or metal

Extensive cross references, including FL485F, FL477F, 10-7205, FZ5551 and others

Helps restore stable, precise steering

Specifications

Part type

Front lower control arm

OE-reference numbers

8E0407509A, 8E0407510A

Position

Front

Material

Aluminium (options as listed)

Sold per

Box

Approx. packed dimensions

50 x 40 x 15 cm

Approx. packed weight

4.0 kg

Installation

Choose your material option when ordering.
