BMW E30 E32 E34 Steel Steering Wheel Boss Kit Hub Adapter
Description

Product Overview

This steel steering wheel boss kit, also known as a hub adapter, is listed for classic BMW E30, E32 and E34 models. A boss kit allows an aftermarket steering wheel to be mounted to the factory steering column, making it a common part for owners personalising the interior of their older BMW for road, track or show use.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Steel construction, as stated in the listing title
  • Allows fitment of an aftermarket steering wheel
  • Listed for E30, E32 and E34 chassis
  • Compact, simple bolt-on style component
  • Popular modification for classic BMW enthusiasts

Vehicle Compatibility

The listing title names BMW E30, E32 and E34 models, but the specifications do not confirm year ranges or steering column details. This fitment is supplier-stated and has not been independently verified. Steering spline and column design can vary between models and production years, so please confirm compatibility before ordering.

Product Specifications

  • Product type: steering wheel boss kit / hub adapter
  • Material: steel (per title)
  • Chassis: E30, E32, E34
  • Selling unit: single item
  • Package size: 13 x 13 x 12 cm
  • Gross weight: approx. 1.3 kg

Installation and Usage

Steering components are safety-critical, and we strongly recommend installation by a qualified technician. Removing the factory wheel may involve disabling an airbag, which must be handled correctly to avoid injury and warning lights. Ensure the boss kit is fully seated on the spline, fasteners are tightened to specification, and indicator self-cancelling and horn functions operate correctly before driving.

Package Contents

Sold as a single item: one boss kit as pictured. Mounting bolts, horn contacts and any adapter hardware have not been confirmed by the supplier.

Important Fitment Notice

Please send us your VIN or chassis number before ordering so we can help check fitment. Changes to steering components and airbag removal may affect WoF compliance and could require certification in New Zealand, so please check requirements before fitting. Images are for reference only.
