Chevrolet Corvette C7 2014-2018 Carbon Fibre and Leather D-Shaped Flat-Bottom Steering Wheel
Description

Product Overview

This D-shaped, flat-bottom steering wheel is designed for the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Corvette C7. It combines 100 percent carbon fibre spokes with a leather grip in a three-spoke layout, giving the cockpit a race-inspired look and a more purposeful feel. The flat-bottom shape also adds a little extra room for getting in and out of this low-slung sports car.

Key Features and Benefits

  • D-shaped flat-bottom design
  • Carbon fibre spokes
  • Leather grip
  • Three-spoke layout
  • Grip thickness options listed by the supplier from 30 mm to 50 mm

Vehicle Compatibility

The supplier lists this wheel for the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Corvette C7. This fitment is supplier-stated and not independently verified. Most C7 Corvettes in New Zealand are imported and converted to right-hand drive, which may affect steering wheel and airbag compatibility, so please confirm before ordering.

Installation and Usage

Installation requires disconnecting the battery, removing the airbag module and transferring controls and wiring to the new wheel. Because airbags are explosive safety devices, this work must be completed by a qualified technician. After installation, check that the wheel is centred, the horn and controls work and that no warning lights remain on. In New Zealand, steering and airbag modifications can affect WoF and compliance, particularly on converted vehicles, so check requirements beforehand.

Package Contents

Steering wheel as pictured. The supplier has not confirmed whether an airbag, buttons or wiring are included, so other contents are not confirmed. These may need to be transferred from your original wheel.

Important Fitment Notice

Please send us your VIN or chassis number, conversion details and a photo of your current steering wheel before ordering. We will help confirm this wheel suits your Corvette.
