Daewoo / Chevrolet Matiz 1.0 2003–on Fuel Pump Assembly 96570070 96298305
Description

Overview

Keep your Daewoo or Chevrolet Matiz running reliably with this new replacement fuel pump assembly, referenced to OE part numbers 96570070 and 96298305. The listing also cross-references 96332986. This small-car pump is suited to owners and workshops dealing with fuel starvation, stalling or a no-start condition caused by a worn pump. A pump that is starting to fail may also make a louder hum than usual, or cause the engine to cut out when the fuel level is low.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data lists:

  • Daewoo Matiz 1.0 (47 kW / 64 PS), 2003 onwards

The listing also describes the part as suitable for the Chevrolet-badged Matiz. As fuel pumps can change between model updates, please compare the part number on your current pump with the references listed here before ordering. If the numbers do not match, please get in touch before purchasing so we can help check the details.

Installation

We recommend fitting by a qualified mechanic. Petrol is highly flammable, so isolate the battery, release fuel pressure and work in a ventilated area away from sparks and heat. Handle the fuel level sender carefully during removal and installation, and run a leak check before the car is driven. A blocked fuel filter or corroded wiring can mimic pump failure, so it is worth ruling these out as part of the diagnosis.

Fitment checks before ordering

Please confirm fitment using your OE part number or VIN before ordering. Only the 1.0 litre Matiz from 2003 onwards has been verified; other engines and earlier models have not been confirmed.

What's included

1 x fuel pump assembly. Mounting hardware and seals are not included unless stated.
