Installation

Door mouldings are usually held by clips and adhesive tape. Remove the old strip with a plastic trim tool, taking care not to damage the paint. Clean off old adhesive with a suitable remover, wipe the surface with panel cleaner, and allow it to dry before fitting the new strip. Line it up carefully before pressing it home, as adhesive tape grips quickly. Fitting in mild temperatures gives the best bond. A body shop can carry out the work if you prefer.

Allow the adhesive to cure for at least a day before washing the car.
