Forged Carbon Fibre Licence Plate Frame - Black, US Plate Size
Description

Product Overview

This licence plate frame is made from forged carbon fibre with a 3K woven covering, according to the supplier, and finished in black. It is designed for US-size number plates, so it will not suit standard New Zealand plates without checking dimensions. It may suit imported American vehicles, show cars or display use where a US-format plate is fitted.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Forged carbon fibre construction, per the supplier
  • 3K woven covering
  • Black finish
  • No LED or lighting function
  • Lightweight frame of approximately 0.15 kg packed

Vehicle Compatibility

The supplier lists this frame for US cars and US tag sizes. New Zealand number plates are a different size and shape, so this frame is unlikely to fit a standard NZ plate. Fitment is supplier-stated, so please measure your plate and mounting holes before ordering.

Product Specifications

  • Product type: licence plate frame
  • Material: forged carbon fibre with 3K weave
  • Colour: black
  • Size: standard US plate size
  • LED function: no
  • Packed size: 32 x 18 x 2.5 cm
  • Packed weight: approximately 0.15 kg

Installation and Usage

Check that the frame matches your plate size and mounting hole spacing. Remove the existing plate screws, place the frame over the plate and refit using suitable screws, taking care not to over-tighten and crack the carbon. Make sure the frame does not cover any plate characters, the plate light or rear sensors. Clean with a mild, non-abrasive product.

Package Contents

One licence plate frame, as pictured. Screws and caps have not been itemised by the supplier.

Important Fitment Notice

If you would like help checking size, send us your VIN and plate details before ordering. Images are for reference only. In New Zealand, number plates must be fully visible and legible, and frames that obscure any part of the plate can result in a Warrant of Fitness failure or infringement. Measure carefully first.
