Installation and Usage

The factory air box and ducting are removed and replaced with the carbon housing and filter, after which the airflow sensor and breather connections are refitted. As the Type R engine is highly tuned and sensitive to airflow measurement, we recommend installation by a Honda or performance specialist who can check fault codes and fuel trims afterwards. Take care with the carbon surfaces during fitting, and clean the filter regularly.
