JS Air Filter A0236

The A0236 engine air filter traps dust, sand, pollen and road grime before it can enter the engine, helping protect internal components and sensitive sensors such as the mass air flow meter.

Pleated filter media provides a large surface area for high dirt-holding capacity and low airflow restriction. A precisely moulded seal fits snugly in the housing so that unfiltered air cannot bypass the element.

Fitment and replacement

Confirm fitment by matching the part number above against your old filter, your vehicle's service book or a parts catalogue for your exact make, model, engine and year. If you are unsure, send us your registration or VIN and we will check it for you. Replace the air filter at every major service or according to the manufacturer's interval, and sooner in dusty conditions. Clean out the air box before fitting the new element and make sure all clips and fasteners are secured.

Check the air filter more often if you regularly drive on gravel roads, farm tracks or in dusty conditions. Buying the correct part the first time saves on labour, avoids repeat jobs and gets the vehicle back to work sooner. Store spare parts in a cool, dry place in their original packaging until they are needed. A clogged air filter makes the engine work harder, which can show up as sluggish acceleration and higher fuel use. Workshops can order with confidence for customer vehicles, and private owners can tackle routine maintenance knowing the part is made to suit the job. Regular maintenance with dependable replacement parts protects the value of your vehicle and helps it pass its next Warrant of Fitness or Certificate of Fitness inspection. Stocked in New Zealand and dispatched quickly, so your vehicle spends less time off the road. Every part is checked against its part number before dispatch, so what arrives matches what you ordered. Keeping a spare on the shelf is a sensible move for workshops, fleet operators and home mechanics who would rather not wait on parts. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's service schedule and fitting instructions, and have the work carried out by a qualified technician if you are not confident doing it yourself.
