JS Fuel Filter FC0033

The FC0033 fuel filter removes dirt, rust and other contaminants from the fuel before it reaches the injection system, protecting precision injectors and pumps. On diesel applications, fuel filters also play an important role in separating water, which can cause corrosion and serious damage to common-rail injection components.

Fine filter media captures small particles while allowing a steady fuel flow to the engine. A blocked or old fuel filter can cause hard starting, loss of power, hesitation under load and rough idle.

Fitment and replacement

Confirm fitment by matching the part number above against your old filter, your vehicle's service book or a parts catalogue for your exact make, model, engine and year. If you are unsure, send us your registration or VIN and we will check it for you. Replace at the manufacturer's recommended interval. Relieve fuel system pressure before disconnecting any lines, fit any new seals supplied, and bleed or prime the system afterwards where required, particularly on diesel engines.

Keeping a spare on the shelf is a sensible move for workshops, fleet operators and home mechanics who would rather not wait on parts. Contaminated fuel is a common cause of injector wear and poor running, so a fresh fuel filter is inexpensive insurance. Buying the correct part the first time saves on labour, avoids repeat jobs and gets the vehicle back to work sooner. Pairing this part with a general inspection of the surrounding components is good practice, as related parts often wear at a similar rate. Stocked in New Zealand and dispatched quickly, so your vehicle spends less time off the road. Diesel owners should also drain any water separator regularly if their vehicle has one. If you are unsure about fitment, send us your vehicle registration, make, model and year before ordering and we will help you confirm the right part. Every part is checked against its part number before dispatch, so what arrives matches what you ordered. Workshops can order with confidence for customer vehicles, and private owners can tackle routine maintenance knowing the part is made to suit the job.
