JS Oil Filter OE0009

The OE0009 oil filter removes metal particles, soot and combustion residues from the engine oil, helping protect bearings, camshafts and other moving parts from wear.

This is a cartridge (element-type) filter. Quality filter media balances fine filtration with good oil flow, including on cold starts, while durable seals help prevent leaks. Where fitted to the design, an anti-drain-back valve keeps oil in the filter when the engine is off, so oil pressure builds quickly on start-up.

Fitment and replacement

Confirm fitment by matching the part number above against your old filter, your vehicle's service book or a parts catalogue for your exact make, model, engine and year. If you are unsure, send us your registration or VIN and we will check it for you. Replace the oil filter at every oil change. Lightly oil the new seal before fitting, replace any O-rings supplied with the element, and tighten the housing cap to the specified torque. Run the engine, check for leaks and top up the oil level as needed.

Keeping a spare on the shelf is a sensible move for workshops, fleet operators and home mechanics who would rather not wait on parts. Quality replacement parts like this help keep running costs predictable and reduce the chance of an unexpected roadside breakdown. Regular maintenance with dependable replacement parts protects the value of your vehicle and helps it pass its next Warrant of Fitness or Certificate of Fitness inspection. Store spare parts in a cool, dry place in their original packaging until they are needed. Our team is happy to answer questions about specifications, compatibility or ordering in larger quantities for fleet and workshop use. Workshops can order with confidence for customer vehicles, and private owners can tackle routine maintenance knowing the part is made to suit the job. If you are unsure about fitment, send us your vehicle registration, make, model and year before ordering and we will help you confirm the right part. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's service schedule and fitting instructions, and have the work carried out by a qualified technician if you are not confident doing it yourself.
