Description

Overview

A new crankshaft for the Mercedes-Benz OM642 3.0 litre V6 diesel, 491.5 mm long and referenced to OE A6420302601. The OM642 is the V6 diesel in the Sprinter, ML and GL, and the C and E-Class, and it is one of the most widely used six-cylinder diesels in the New Zealand commercial fleet. It is known for oil cooler seal and turbo work, but bottom-end failure also occurs at high mileage, and the repair is only viable with a competitively sourced crank.
