Nissan 200SX Silvia S13 S14 S15 Short Shifter Kit with Silver Gear Shift Knob
Description

Product Overview

This short shifter kit is made for the Nissan S-chassis family, including S13, S14 and S15 models sold as the 200SX and Silvia. It reduces the distance the gear lever travels between gears, giving a tighter and more responsive shift that suits drift, track and enthusiastic road use. The kit is paired with a silver gear shift knob to freshen up the look of the cabin.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Reduced lever travel for quicker gear changes
  • Aluminium construction
  • Silver gear shift knob included in the listing
  • Designed for S13, S14 and S15 platforms
  • A popular upgrade for drift and grip builds

Vehicle Compatibility

The supplier states this kit fits Nissan S13, S14 and S15 200SX models. The listing title gives 1989-1998, while the specification sheet lists several ranges between 1988 and 1999, so exact year coverage should be checked. This fitment is supplier-stated and has not been independently verified. Please confirm your gearbox type and model before ordering, particularly on imported or engine-swapped cars.

Installation and Usage

Installation usually involves removing the console, gear knob and boots, unbolting the factory shifter and fitting the new one with fresh grease on the pivot. A home mechanic with hand tools can often complete the job, but if you are not confident, ask a qualified mechanic to fit it. Before driving, check that all gears engage fully and the boots seal properly.

Important Fitment Notice

Many S-chassis cars in New Zealand are imports or have had gearbox swaps, which can change shifter fitment. Please send us your VIN or chassis number, plus gearbox details if known, and we will help confirm compatibility before you order.
