Porsche 924 944 / VW Golf Jetta Rabbit Scirocco Billet Aluminium Steering Wheel Short Hub Adapter
Description

Product Overview

This billet aluminium short hub adapter boss kit is listed for the Porsche 924 and 944, and for classic Volkswagen models including the Golf, Jetta, Rabbit and Scirocco. It allows an aftermarket steering wheel to be fitted to the factory steering column, a popular upgrade for classic European sports cars and hot hatches.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Billet aluminium construction
  • Short hub profile
  • Listed for Porsche 924 / 944 and classic VW models
  • Allows aftermarket steering wheel fitment
  • Ideal for classic and restoration builds

Vehicle Compatibility

The listing title names the Porsche 924 and 944 and VW Golf, Jetta, Rabbit and Scirocco. Generations and years were not specified, and steering columns differ between early and later models. This fitment is supplier-stated and has not been independently verified, so please confirm compatibility with us before ordering.

Product Specifications

  • Product type: steering wheel short hub adapter / boss kit
  • Material: billet aluminium
  • Vehicles listed: Porsche 924, 944; VW Golf, Jetta, Rabbit, Scirocco
  • Package size: 11 x 12 x 6 cm
  • Gross weight: approx. 0.55 kg

Installation and Usage

Steering components are safety-critical and must be installed by a qualified technician. If the vehicle has an airbag, it must be disabled and removed safely. Fit the hub squarely on the spline, tighten to specification and connect the horn wiring. Check that the horn, indicator self-cancelling and steering lock all function correctly before driving.

Package Contents

Sold as a single item: one short hub adapter as pictured. Bolts and horn contacts have not been confirmed by the supplier.

Important Fitment Notice

Please send us your VIN or chassis number before ordering so we can help confirm fitment. Steering modifications may affect WoF compliance and may require certification in New Zealand, especially on classic vehicles. Images are for reference only, and finish may vary from the photos.
