A new high-strength steel front guard (fender) for the Volkswagen Golf VI, chassis 5K1, built from 2008 to 2013. The part listing groups front-end panels for this model, with OE-reference numbers 5K6 821 021 and 5K6 821 022 for the guards, 5K0 805 588E for the radiator support and 5K0 823 031F for the bonnet. The selectable option is the left-hand front guard.

Vehicle compatibility

Installation

Expect to remove the front bumper, headlight, wheel arch liner and side indicator before the guard can be unbolted. Fit the new panel loosely first, then set the gaps against the bonnet, front door and bumper before tightening. The guard must be prepared, painted and sealed to match your vehicle. We recommend fitting by a qualified panel beater to achieve correct alignment and long-lasting corrosion protection.

Fitment checks before ordering

LH is the left side as seen from the driver's seat, which is the passenger side on NZ-market cars. Confirm the side and part number by OE number or VIN before ordering, and inspect the panel before it goes to paint.
