It is designed for owners and repairers dealing with rear-end collision damage, a bent or creased hatch skin, or rust around the lower edge of the tailgate. A replacement shell lets you restore the rear of the car without extensive panel repair.

Vehicle compatibility

The listing title names the Volkswagen Polo, 2010. Listed fitment data contains 27 Polo entries from Mexican, Brazilian, South African and Argentinian market data, including Polo, Polo GTI, Polo BlueMotion, Polo BlueGT, Polo Cross and gas-powered variants. Year ranges in that table vary widely, from 1999 through to 2022, so the table alone does not pin down a single generation. Please compare the part number on your current tailgate with 6RD827025, or check your VIN, before ordering.

Key features

New condition replacement tailgate panel

Listed against OE-reference number 6RD827025 for easy comparison with your existing part

Intended to restore the factory rear profile and panel gaps once correctly fitted

A clean starting point for paint, avoiding heavy filler on a damaged original

Specifications

Part type

Tailgate / boot lid (trunk lid) panel

OE-reference number

6RD827025

Vehicle

Volkswagen Polo

Condition

New, for replacement or repair

Approx. packed dimensions

160 x 70 x 75 cm

Approx. packed weight

13.5 kg

Installation

The panel will need preparation and painting to match your vehicle before installation.
