Rear lamps are frequently damaged in low-speed reversing incidents, and a cracked lens can let in moisture that eventually causes electrical faults. Replacing the whole assembly restores rear lighting and a clean appearance.

Vehicle compatibility

The listing shows the Volkswagen Tiguan L with a year range of 2020 to 2024. The Tiguan L is the long-wheelbase version produced mainly for the China market, and its rear lamps may differ from those fitted to standard Tiguan models sold in New Zealand. No detailed fitment table was supplied. Please check the OE number on your current tail light before ordering, or have a dealer confirm compatibility from your VIN.

Key features

LED rear lamp assembly with red lens

Referenced to OE numbers 56G945307 and 56G945308

12 V operation, 25 W rating

Listing lists 6000 lm output and 8000K colour temperature

New replacement unit

Specifications

Part type

LED tail light assembly

OE-reference numbers

56G 945 307, 56G 945 308

Vehicle

Volkswagen Tiguan L, 2020–2024

Voltage

12 V

Wattage

25 W

Lens colour

Red

Condition

New

Approx. packed dimensions

43 x 120 x 18 cm

Approx. packed weight

8.0 kg

Installation

Tail lights are normally accessed from inside the boot by removing a trim panel, then unplugging the connector and undoing the retaining nuts.
