These large SUVs share much of their platform, and the listing shows this pump across a range of petrol, V8 and hybrid versions. A failing pump can cause rough running, low power or a no-start condition, and a complete assembly is a tidy fix.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data lists 15 applications, including:

Volkswagen Touareg 2010–2018: 3.0 V6 TSI Hybrid, 3.6 V6 FSI (183 kW and 206 kW), 4.2 V8 FSI

Porsche Cayenne 2010 onwards: 3.6, 3.6 S, 3.6 GTS

Porsche Cayenne 2010 onwards: 4.8 S, 4.8 GTS, 4.8 Turbo, 4.8 Turbo S

Porsche Cayenne 3.0 S E-Hybrid 2011–2017

The listed attribute data also mentions 3.0 TDI Touareg models from 2015–2019. Disconnect the battery and follow the manufacturer's procedure for isolating any high-voltage components. Relieve fuel pressure, work in a ventilated area away from ignition sources, and check thoroughly for leaks once the new pump is installed. Once the job is complete, scan for stored fault codes and confirm the fuel gauge reads correctly.

Fitment checks before ordering

Please confirm fitment with your OE part number or VIN before ordering. Touareg and Cayenne tanks can use more than one pump, so confirm which position this unit replaces. Fitting the wrong unit can lead to fuel level or delivery problems.

What's included

1 x fuel pump assembly.
