VW Golf MK7 GTI / Golf R / Audi A3 S3 8V Carbon Fibre Cold Air Intake Kit
Description

Product Overview

This carbon fibre cold air intake kit is designed for the Volkswagen Golf MK7 GTI and Golf R, and the Audi A3 and S3 on the 8V platform. Replacing the factory airbox with an enclosed carbon fibre housing and open filter helps the engine draw air more freely, while the carbon finish adds a premium look under the bonnet. It is a popular choice for owners of these turbocharged hatchbacks who want both style and a stronger induction note.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Carbon fibre construction
  • Carbon fibre look finish for a premium engine bay
  • Designed for the MQB-based Golf and A3 range
  • Enhanced turbo and induction sound
  • Direct replacement for the factory air box assembly

Vehicle Compatibility

The supplier lists this kit as suitable for the VW Golf MK7 GTI and Golf R and the Audi A3 and S3 8V. No model years or engine codes have been provided. Fitment is supplier-stated and not independently verified, so please confirm compatibility, including facelift MK7.5 models, before ordering.

Installation and Usage

Fitting involves removing the factory airbox and intake ducting, then installing the carbon housing, filter and inlet pipe. Reconnect any breather hoses and sensors, and check that clamps are tight and seals are seated properly. Handle the carbon components carefully during fitting to avoid scratching the clear coat. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with this platform. Clean the filter regularly as part of routine maintenance.

Package Contents

Cold air intake kit as pictured. The supplier has not confirmed whether the turbo inlet pipe, couplers, clamps or hardware are included, so other contents are not confirmed.

Important Fitment Notice

Engine variants within the MK7 Golf and 8V A3 range differ by market, and some models may use different intake layouts. Please send us your VIN or chassis number before ordering so we can confirm suitability for your car.
