The listing describes it as a dual-pass crossflow radiator. A radiator that leaks, has corroded fins or a blocked core cannot shed engine heat effectively, which can quickly lead to overheating, especially when towing or in summer traffic.

Replacing an old radiator is also a good opportunity to renew tired coolant hoses and the thermostat.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data lists a single application: the China-market SAIC Volkswagen Passat from 2000. The 3B part number prefix is associated with the Passat B5 family, but European and New Zealand-market Passat B5 models were offered with many engine, gearbox and air-conditioning combinations that use different radiators. This listing does not confirm suitability for any specific engine or transmission. Please confirm by OE-reference number or VIN before ordering.

Key features

Engine cooling radiator

Choose aluminium brazed or expanding pipe construction

Matched to OE-reference number 3BD121251C

New condition

Specifications

Part type

Engine radiator

OE-reference number

3BD121251C

Processing options

Aluminium brazed or expanding pipe

Condition

New

Sold per

Piece

Approx. packed dimensions

100 x 25 x 80 cm

Approx. packed weight

20.0 kg

Installation

With the engine fully cooled, drain the coolant, disconnect the hoses and any transmission cooler lines, and remove the radiator from its mounts.
