The part listing names the VW T-Roc, Polo and T-Cross, and the product is described as electric power steering (EPS) or hydraulic. It is a new replacement for vehicles with a faulty or noisy steering rack.

Vehicle compatibility

The listing information is contradictory. The title and description name the VW Polo, T-Roc, T-Cross and Golf Mk8, and the Skoda Kamiq. However, the four fitment rows list completely different vehicles: VW Touareg 7L 2002–2010, VW Touareg 7P from 2010, VW Amarok from 2010 and Audi Q7 4L 2006–2015. The 2Q numbers correspond to the newer small-car platform, so the fitment rows appear to be incorrect. Fitment is therefore unverified.

Key features

New steering rack and steering gear assembly

Choose the power source option when ordering: hydraulic, electrical or mechanical

Four VW OE-reference numbers listed for cross-checking

Extensive aftermarket cross-reference list, including V10-6229 and JBE363

Specifications

Part type

Steering rack / steering gear assembly

OE-reference numbers

2Q1423061C, 2Q1423061CX, 2Q2423061C, 2Q2423061CX

Type listed

Electric power steering (EPS) / hydraulic

Condition

New

Sold per

Box

Approx. packed dimensions

120 x 20 x 10 cm

Approx. packed weight

5.0 kg

Installation

Electric steering racks are safety-critical and electronically controlled.
