Referenced to OE number 5DL 805 588, it forms the front structure that holds the radiator, condenser, headlights and bonnet latch in position, and it is commonly replaced after front-end collision repairs.

A distorted or cracked radiator support can affect panel gaps, headlight alignment and bonnet latching, and may allow the radiator to move. Fitting a new support restores the correct mounting points so front-end components can be aligned properly during collision repair.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment data lists the Volkswagen Tiguan from 2016 onward, including vehicles from 2020 onward. Engine variants and body styles were not specified, and front-end assemblies can change between facelifts and markets.
