This ECU fits inside the factory OEM enclosure. Installation of the processing unit is a breeze, with no alteration of the factory wiring loom required for the models listed below. Due to the amount of variation on this vehicle, please ensure you read the Configuration - Memo Text in PC Link. This product supports the following North American (USDM) models:2011-2014 WRX STI hatch or sedan, GR/GV chassis code, manual transmission only. (note 2010 and earlier models used a different pinout which is supported by our WRX11 ecu - see model list link below).2015-2021 WRX STI VA chassis code, must have EJ series engine, manual transmission only. (FA20 engine not supported). Take a look at our supported models list to find out which models are supported and technical information on how to check if a model is supported. Alternatively, contact your LinkECU Reseller or our 24/6 Tech Support Team. Important Notes Please check your connector matches the header in the listed photo before purchasing. This ECU works for manual transmissions only. Air temp sensor highly recommended. Most factory features are supported including DCCD, hill start assist, SI drive, cruise control, cam control & ABS supported. Check the features tab for I/O input & output expansion options. Note: This Plug-in features a new 4 pin powered CAN connector and cannot use the old CANPCB cable for CAN connection. Use the CANJST4 (Link PN 101-0198) cable for connecting CAN devices. This new 4 pin port and cable provide not only the CAN connection, but also a protected 12V power supply and ground for powering the CAN devices. The power supply is protected by a self-resetting fuse rated at 3A continuous.

This Plug-In ECU is genuine Link Engine Management equipment, supplied through AutoCentre Parts New Zealand as part of our dedicated Link ECU range. Because it is designed to occupy the factory ECU location and connect to the factory wiring, installation is generally straightforward for a qualified auto electrician or tuner, with no custom loom required.
