Mazda 626 III 1988–1991 Station Wagon 2.0 D (44KW,60PS) 908841 Performance Engine Cylinder Head Complete R2 RF Malliris – OEM R2Y410100A

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is a direct-fit replacement manufactured for the R2 RF engine family, the diesel unit used in Mazda vehicles. It is supplied fully assembled with valve guides, valve seats, valves, springs and, where applicable, the camshaft carrier already installed, so a cracked, warped, valve-damaged or severely worn original head can be replaced without additional machining.

Key Features: The casting is CNC-machined to original tolerances so that deck flatness, valve seat concentricity and port geometry all meet specification. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed, combustion chamber volumes are matched across cylinders for balanced compression, and the camshaft journals are line-honed for correct bearing clearance. Reinforced material around the valve bridge, injector or spark plug bosses improves thermal durability under sustained load.

Vehicle Compatibility: This assembly is confirmed against the following applications: Mazda 626 III Station Wagon (1988.09-1991.07) 2.0 D (44KW,60PS); Mazda E Van (1997.02-2003.05) E2200 D 4WD (52KW,71PS); Mazda E Van (1997.02-2002.08) E2200 D (52KW,71PS); Suzuki Grand Vitara I (1998.03-2003.07) 2.0 TD 4x4 (64KW,87PS); Mazda 323 F VI Hatchback (2001.01-2004.05) 2.0 TD (74KW,101PS); Mazda 323 S VI Saloon (2000.10-2002.10) 2.0 DiTD (74KW,101PS); and further market variants of the same models.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Replacing a failed engine with this prepared assembly restores performance, oil control and fuel economy while avoiding the machining, cleaning and assembly time of a full rebuild.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician following the manufacturer's procedure. Clean and check the block deck for flatness, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts where specified, and torque in the correct sequence to the published figures. Replace the timing belt or chain and tensioner as a set, set valve clearances and cam timing, then refill with the correct coolant and oil.
