Chevrolet Opel Astra 2017+ (Second Generation) IGNIS SUV (17.08-) C20NE LUV 2.2 OEM 90209896 Luv 2.2 C20NE Complete Cylinder Head Assy Espero Daewoo – OEM 90209896

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is designed for Opel, Chevrolet, Daewoo and Holden two-litre C20NE and LUV 2.2 petrol engines, the robust inline four-cylinder used in mid-size passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. It is supplied as a fully assembled unit with valves, guides and seats installed and is machined to original equipment tolerances, offering a practical replacement for a warped, cracked or valve-damaged original cylinder head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-grade material and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, correct valve seat concentricity and consistent combustion chamber volume. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed to deliver even sealing and balanced compression across all four cylinders. Cam carrier surfaces are finished for correct bearing clearance, and the intake and exhaust flanges are precision machined for reliable gasket sealing and correct manifold alignment.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Opel Astra, Vectra, Espero and Calibra derivatives, Chevrolet and Daewoo models, and related applications using the C20NE or LUV 2.2 engine. Because these engines were used across many vehicle lines, confirm the engine code, casting number and OE reference against the original component before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code C20NE / LUV 2.2; displacement 2.0 L and 2.2 L; inline four-cylinder petrol; material cast iron or aluminium; standard size; new condition; valves included; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; purpose replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 90209896. Match this reference against the casting marks and part label on the original cylinder head to confirm the correct specification.

Applications: Suitable for family sedans, hatchbacks, small vans and light commercial vehicles, covering everyday repairs, engine rebuilds, workshop overhauls and fleet maintenance where a factory-specification head is required.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Installing this assembly restores compression, corrects coolant and combustion gas leakage caused by cracking or distortion, and eliminates the cost of separately reconditioning valves, guides and seats. A complete head reduces downtime and simplifies the overhaul.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician. Clean and verify block deck flatness, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts as specified, and torque in the correct sequence. Replace timing belt or chain components and coolant during the job, verify valve clearances and cam timing, then run the engine to operating temperature and check for leaks before road testing.
