Chevrolet Aveo Cruze Daewoo 2009–2010 G3 (Mexico and USA) F14D3 F16D3 High Performance F14D3 F16D3 DOHC Complete Cylinder Head 96378691 Lova Spark – OEM 96446922

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is engineered for Chevrolet, Pontiac and Daewoo F14D3 and F16D3 1.4 and 1.6-litre DOHC petrol engines, the powerplants widely used in the Aveo, Lacetti, Nubira, Cruze and Wave families. Supplied fully assembled with valves and guides installed, it offers a direct replacement for a cracked, warped or valve-damaged original cylinder head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-grade aluminium alloy and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, valve seat concentricity and consistent combustion chamber volume. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed for even sealing and balanced compression across all cylinders, and the DOHC cam carrier surfaces are finished for correct bearing clearance and camshaft support. Intake and exhaust flanges are machined to original profiles for reliable gasket sealing and correct manifold alignment.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Chevrolet G3 (Mexico and USA, 2009-2010), G3 Wave (Canada, 2009-2010), Wave Hatchback and Sedan (Canada, 2005-2008), Aveo (non-Canada and US markets, 2012-2018) and Gentra T255 (2006-2011) models, plus related Cruze, Lacetti and Nubira applications using these engine codes. Verify the engine code and OE reference before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code F14D3 / F16D3; displacement 1.4 L and 1.6 L; DOHC; four cylinders; material aluminium alloy; standard size; new condition; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; purpose replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 96446922, 96389035 and 96378691. Cross-reference these numbers with the casting identification on the original head to confirm the correct variant.

Applications: Suitable for compact sedans, hatchbacks and small family cars, covering everyday repairs, engine rebuilds, workshop overhauls and fleet maintenance where a factory-specification DOHC head is required.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Installing this assembly restores compression, corrects coolant and combustion gas leakage caused by cracks or distortion, and removes the expense of individually reconditioning valves, guides and seats. A complete unit significantly reduces vehicle downtime compared with rebuilding the original casting.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Entrust the work to a qualified technician. Inspect the block deck for flatness and clean all mating surfaces, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts as specified, and torque in the correct sequence. Replace timing and cooling components as required, verify valve clearances and cam timing, then run the engine to operating temperature and check for leaks before road testing.
