Hyundai Accent 00 2003–2006 G4KD G4KE Complete Cylinder Head 22100-22021 Sonata Santa IX35 – OEM 21100-2BB20

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is designed for Hyundai and Kia G4KD 2.0-litre and G4KE 2.4-litre petrol engines, the four-cylinder units used across mid-size sedans, SUVs and MPVs. It is delivered fully assembled with pre-installed valves, guides and seats and machined to original equipment tolerances, providing a dependable replacement for a warped, cracked or valve-damaged original cylinder head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-grade material and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, valve seat concentricity and matched combustion chamber volume. Valve guides and seats are fitted and honed to deliver even sealing and balanced compression across all cylinders, and the cam carrier surfaces are finished for correct bearing clearance in the DOHC valvetrain. Machined intake and exhaust flanges ensure reliable gasket sealing, while reinforced casting sections improve thermal durability under sustained load.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Hyundai Accent 00 (1999-2006 and 2003-2006), Accent 06 (2006-2007), Elantra 00 (2000-2007) and E-County 04EM (2004-2010) models, plus related Hyundai and Kia platforms using the G4KD or G4KE engine. Always confirm the engine code and OE number before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code G4KD 2.0 / G4KE 2.4; displacement 2.0 L and 2.4 L; inline four-cylinder petrol; material cast iron or aluminium; standard size; new condition; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; intended for replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 21100-2BB20, 21100-2BB21 and 22100-22021. Match these references against the casting marks on the original head to be certain of the correct specification.

Applications: Suitable for mid-size sedans, SUVs, MPVs and light commercial vehicles, covering daily driver repairs, engine rebuilds, workshop overhauls and fleet maintenance programmes requiring a factory-specification head.

Benefits / Replacement Information: This assembly restores compression, resolves coolant and combustion leakage caused by cracking or distortion, and eliminates the cost of separately reconditioning the original valves, guides and seats. Supplying the head complete shortens repair time and reduces vehicle downtime.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Installation must be performed by a qualified technician. Check the block deck for flatness, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts where specified, and torque in the correct sequence and stages. Replace timing components and coolant as part of the job, verify valve clearances and cam timing, then run the engine and re-check for leaks before returning the vehicle to service.
