Hyundai Pajero 1999–2006 6G72 SPORT(BRAZIL) G6AT Engine Parts Cylinder Head Assy MD307678 MD301620 MD182213 – OEM 22001-36100

Product Overview: This complete cylinder head assembly is engineered for Mitsubishi and Hyundai 6G72 and G6AT 3.0-litre V6 petrol engines, a proven powerplant used in SUVs, pickups and mid-size passenger cars. It is supplied fully assembled with valves, guides and seats installed and is machined to original equipment tolerances, offering a reliable replacement for a warped, cracked or valve-damaged original head.

Key Features: The casting is produced from high-grade material and CNC-machined for accurate deck flatness, valve seat concentricity and matched combustion chamber volume across all six cylinders. Valve guides and seats are pre-installed and honed for even sealing and balanced compression, and the cam carrier surfaces are finished for correct bearing clearance in the SOHC layout. Intake and exhaust flange faces are precision machined for reliable gasket sealing and correct manifold alignment.

Vehicle Compatibility: This head fits Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (Brazil, 1999-2006), Pajero (China, 1995-2005 and 2007-2019), Pajero and Montero export models (1982-2004), Pajero Sport (Brazil and MMTH, 2008-2012), Nativa and Pajero Sport (2008-2015), plus Hyundai Sonata II and III V6 applications using the 6G72 or G6AT engine. Verify the engine code and OE reference before ordering.

Specifications: Engine code 6G72 / G6AT; displacement 3.0 litres; V6 petrol; material cast iron or aluminium; standard size; new condition; complete assembly; 12-month warranty; reference numbers XX-MI010, JMI010 and MI010; purpose replacement and repair.

OEM / Reference Numbers: 22001-36100, MD307678, MD301620, MD182213, MD157076, MD157073 and MD128111. Match these references against the casting marks on the original head to confirm the correct variant.

Applications: Suitable for SUVs, off-road vehicles, pickups and mid-size sedans, covering everyday repairs, engine rebuilds, workshop overhauls and fleet maintenance where a robust factory-specification V6 head is required.

Benefits / Replacement Information: Installing this assembly restores compression, corrects coolant and combustion leakage caused by cracking or distortion, and eliminates the cost of separately reconditioning valves, guides and seats. A complete unit reduces repair time and keeps vehicles in service.

Installation or Fitment Notes: Have the work performed by a qualified technician. Check block and head deck flatness, fit a new head gasket and new head bolts where specified, and torque in the correct sequence. Replace timing belt, tensioners and coolant during the job, verify valve clearances and cam timing, then run the engine and check for leaks before road testing.
